Description:
The nurse practitioner is responsible for the primary care; assessment and medical management of patients along with the oversight of the Pain Management Program. This position acts as medical resource and provides episodic work-ups as needed for patients. The nurse practitioner collaborates, communicates and coordinates with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients and families.
Provides routine pain management care integrated with the physician's practice, monitoring PCA infusions, side effects, etc.
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Connecticut.
- Minimum one year experience
