• Perform security event monitoring, intrusion detection, and intrusion prevention for systems on the JWICS, SIPRnet, and NIPRnet networks.
• Monitor and identify critical network updates
• Install latest security patches and configure security settings on Microsoft Windows, Exchange, and SQL Server systems
• Monitor network performance and perform load balancing and resource allocation of production systems
• Perform troubleshooting on systems and networks
• Document system monitoring and administration SOPs.

• A DOD Top Secret Security Clearance with DCID 6/4 eligibility
• Ability to pass government psychological assessment
• Ability to pass a physical assessment
• Willingness to deploy for relatively extended periods (NTE 6 months)
• Minimum 6-8 years experience as a Systems / Network Administrator maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, load balancing, and configuring Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2007 systems on NIPRnet, SIPRnet, and/or JWICS networks
• Significant utilization of Information Assurance (IA) monitoring tools (e.g., WhatsUp Gold, Sniffer, Ethereal, Dameware, SolarWinds, Protector Series, ObjectFinder, etc.)
• Military background and experience with Special Operations and prior OCONUS deployment
• DoD 8570 Certifications (e.g., A+, Security+, Network+, CISSP, CNDA, etc.)
