A well respected, financially strong P & C insurer is seeking an accomplished Commercial Lines Underwriter in the greater Baltimore area. This is a market facing position tasked with ensuring continued growth with key independent agents in Maryland. You will be visiting larger agents and brokers regularly to develop, underwrite new business and manage renewals. Experience with underwriting various classes of standard market, multi-line business is essential; focus is on middle market and above accounts. You will be part of a dedicated territory team including underwriting support, claims, loss control.
